Book
Signing Over Lunch at the Lazy Dog Coffeehouse.
The
Pottsville Maroons & the NFL's Stolen
Championship of 1925. Author
Vincent Genovese will be joined by contributing author, Jason
Genovese, poet, Bill Gaydos and Maroons aficionado, Dr. Jack Dolbin to discuss
this carefully researched book. In addition to documenting their local history
and their unparalleled athletic dominance on the football field, Mr. Genovese
documents the political "raw deal" that stripped the notorious Pottsville
Maroons of their 1925 championship title. A must-read for anyone interested in
Schuylkill County history and/or the Pottsville Maroons.
