The
Lazy Dog
is designed in the tradition of the authentic
coffeehouses of Greenwich Village in New York City. It is a neighborhood
gathering place for friends, families, business associates, students, and
visitors of Minersville, Schuylkill county, and the surrounding areas. In an
intimate setting of exposed brick, steel beams and ductwork, seating to
accommodate 80+ guests, an outdoor patio, a beautifully stocked bakery counter, wifi internet access, a sound-equipped stage/performance area, and an inviting
dance floor, we hope our guests will use the
Lazy Dog
as their home away from home. The counter area features a specialty espresso
and smoothie bar, and a bakery case brimming with freshly-baked bagels, scones,
cookies, cakes, pies and other desserts. Our kitchen serves a diverse menu of
lunch and dinner items, including a great selection of lunch and dinner entrées,
daily specials, artisan sandwiches,
soups, salads and fresh fruits. We also offer a complete hot breakfast menu 7
days a week.
Our unique signature
sandwiches, panini, twice-baked potatoes,
and skewered white meat chicken smothered in unforgettable toppings and dipping
sauces, accented by selections from our wine, beer or martini lists are doghouse
favorites. Our premium fair-trade organic coffees and teas, and hot & cold
espresso drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and frappés are at the
heart of our coffeehouse. Our stage features live musical entertainment ranging
from acoustic, jazz, blues and swing, to pop/rock. We are also a forum for
comedy, poetry, theatrical readings, book signings and other talent as it
presents itself.

goal is to create a sensational coffeehouse experience for our guests that will

FAQ
Q: Does the Lazy Dog have gift cards?
A: Yes, Lazy Dog gift cards can be purchased at the coffeehouse for any
dollar amount.
Q: When can I hear live music at the Lazy Dog?
A: We have open mic/karaoke Thursday nights from 7-10pm. We have live
music every Friday and Saturday from 8-11pm. We book a great mix of classic
rock, pop, jazz and blues by both local and regional artists. Please check the
Events Calendar on our website for further information.
Q: Do you have a cover charge?
A: We have a $1 Event charge on Thursday night (open mic/karaoke).
There are NO cover charges Friday or Saturday night
except for "Music Special Events" which require a ticket purchase.

Events Calendar (see above).
Q: Do I need to be 21 to come to
the Lazy Dog?
A. No. All ages are welcome. Of course, you must be
twenty-one to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.
Q: Is it ok to bring my children?
A: Absolutely! The Lazy Dog welcomes your entire family.
Q: Is the Lazy Dog wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, the Lazy Dog is wheelchair accessible. In fact, we are fully
ADA compliant. Please let us know of any special accommodations you may need
when placing your reservation - we aim to make every guest as comfortable as
possible.
Q: Where do I park? Is there free parking?
A: Free parking is available at the rear of our
building and the rear of the Way-Mart parking lot, on Lewis Street, on both
sides of River Street, and at Schuylkill Dental Medicine (daytime parking in the
rear, evening/weekend parking in the entire lot)
Q: Do you have Daily Specials?
A: Yes. We have "Blackboard Specials" every day. These items are
created each week by our chefs, and are very well received by our guests.
