BARBARA LEYMEISTER JUCKER

Art has been a lifelong interest for Barbara – a Schuylkill County Native.
Combining her love of nature with brush, canvas and natural creativity has always enthused her.
Barbara’s work emphasizes the beauty of birds and the outdoors. As a mostly self-taught artist, she gets her creativity from walks in the woods.
Barbara paints generally with acrylics and watercolor. She has studied with noted wildlife artist Fred Wetzel, as well as several other accomplished artists including David Allen Sibley and Laura Mark-Finberg.
She has participated in area shows and events, including past Allied Artist Art Shows, Schuylkill County Council of the Arts Shows, Northumberland County Council for the Arts in Shamokin and Galleries at Jim Thorpe. Her work has also been on display in various area establishments.
Recognitions include best of show award, people’s choice award and numerous first, second, and third places in competitions.
She hopes you will enjoy her work and that you may share her love for nature and the outdoors.
