The Blue Mountain Art Department is committed to assisting and guiding students in developing an appreciation and understanding of the visual arts. Through an extensive curriculum based upon
art history, art criticism, aesthetics and art production students gain an understanding of themselves, their culture and the cultures that make up our global community, providing them the
opportunity to become articulate, creative, tolerant and productive members of society.
