JACK FLYNN

Jack Flynn was born and raised in Minersville. He was a letter
carrier for the postal service for 33 years. His father, John J. Flynn, was
Justice of the Peace in Minersville from 1902 to 1957.
Jack spends most of his spare time drawing scenes of Minersville and using them
for Christmas cards, which he sends to all his friends.
The drawings on exhibit at the Lazy Dog are of Sunbury St., the main street of Minersville. Sunbury St. is also known as the Yellow Brick Road - yes, there are yellow bricks under all that macadam. In the early days, Sunbury St. was also known as The Sunbury Trail.
