I have lived in Tower City all of my life and have worked in various jobs in Schuylkill and Lebanon Counties. As far back as I can remember I was always doodling. Then in the 70’s my ‘doodling’ became ‘dabbling’ in oils. It was relaxing and I really enjoyed painting. But raising a family and running a business with my husband didn’t leave a lot of time to paint. So I stopped and didn’t pick up a brush again until May of 2008 after becoming a Spiritual Director. Then the images were given to me so quickly that the paint would not dry fast enough for me to paint just one canvas at a time. Now, in my 60’s, I have time to allow this creative force to move through me and It is truly a joyful experience.
