PAT ZAHARIS

Pat Zaharis is a Pottsville native and a retired registered nurse. She is a self-taught artist, who uses her natural talents to create unique and beautiful jewelry. She started by designing and making jewelry for herself and family, but at the request of others who admired her work and wanted to purchase pieces for themselves, formed PAZ Designs. The name reflects the artists’ initials (Patricia Ann Zaharis)and coincidentally means peace.

Every piece of jewelry is designed and hand crafted in her private studio. The unique pieces are made from a variety of materials -- semiprecious stones, fresh water pearls, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, 14k Gold-filled and vermeil. She is inspired by daily life and her surroundings, wherever that is.


PAZ Designs offers elegant yet affordable jewelry for every occasion and has been featured at A Block of Art (Pottsville), Artist in the Spotlight (Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson St.), Christmas Event (The Greystone Restaurant), Jewelry Show (Renningers), Bridal Expo (Fairlane Village Mall), and numerous craft shows and private residences throughout Schuylkill and Berks County.
