Charles J. Adams III, is a native of Reading, PA. He has written more than 25 books on ghosts, hauntings, legends, shipwrecks and train wrecks in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware. He has led "ghost tours" in New York City, Philadelphia, Scotland, Wales and England, and has been featured on the History Channel, A&E, TLC, MTV and the Travel Channel as a commentator and consultant on programs dealing with hauntings. An accomplished musician and songwriter, Adams is former president of the Reading Public Library, and has been on the board of directors of the Historical Society of Berks County for more than 25 years. In addition to his books, Adams also writes travel features for the Reading Eagle and is the morning personality on radio station WEEU, 830AM, in Reading.
