About the Author:

DANA SMITH-MANSELL has a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a Master of Science in Behavioral Disorders from Bloomsburg University. She is a preschool service coordinator and behavioral consultant working with special needs children and their families to provide emotional and social support. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young children and the Council for Exceptional Children. She and her family live in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
