MUSIC

Since opening in 2007, the Lazy Dog has been one of the area's premier music venues. Our intimate setting and unobstructed stage views, fine food and great sound system make the Lazy Dog a must-visit destination.

The Lazy Dog hosts a wide variety of great entertainment, with live music Friday and Saturday nights, open mic and karaoke every Thursday, dinner shows, theater and other musical and performance events. We happily consider any music, art, theatre, dance, spoken word, or other performance that is suited to our space. We do not book punk, hardcore, or heavy metal bands, and we do not allow any extreme or offensive language or behavior.

Musician House Policies are subject to change at any time.
Current policies apply to all performers, even if an older Agreement is in place.

RETURNING ARTISTS

Please send us updated pictures, posters and other promo materials 45 days before your date. Please check our current House Policies rider listing set times, guidelines and other important information which may have changed since your last appearance.

NEW ARTISTS

At the Lazy Dog, our mainstay in music is Blues. We also like classic '60s & '70s pop/rock, and we like jazz.
We provide an intimate atmosphere where our guests can enjoy an experience they can’t get in other venues. Club capacity: 80 seated comfortably; 100 absolute maximum. Full PA and sound tech provided. We typically book about 2-3 months in advance.

Booking inquiries are acceoted through email only. Be sure to include:

(1) Your contact information. Include your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, and email address
(2) A description of your type of music/performance: solo, group, acoustic, electric, blues, jazz, pop, 70's cover, original, etc.
(3) Links to your work online (EPK, website, MySpace, SoundClick, etc.)
(4) A list of your recent/local performances.
(5) What you will do to promote your appearance, and your honest estimation of ticket draw to the Lazy Dog. If you don’t currently have a regional track record or fan-base in the Schuylkill county area, it may affect your ability to have a successful show at our venue.

We are fortunate to receive MANY requests to play at our venue and open slots are limited, so don't take it personally if you don't receive a respone from us right away. It may take your act some time to gain entrance. Please be patient. If you don't hear from us in 4 weeks time, please send a second request. Be sure to be complete in your email - the more information you send the more likely we are to take a serious look at what you do.
