"It's going to be a fun night," declares the guitarist of Pennsylvania's Mean Mr. Mustard. Created by Philadelphia based drummer Alex Smith (the Tamboureens, Rotten Belly Blues, Nathaniel Hoho), their live show presents almost thirty Beatles songs that you know and love.
Mean Mr. Mustard performs the Beatles songbook, alive and fresh for the 21st Century! You will recognize tunes like "Oh Darling" and travel on sonic journeys through revamped versions of "Norwegian Wood" and "Get Back". The band plays songs from Help!, launches into Beatles-themed jams, and even plays some acoustic numbers. Mean Mr. Mustard came together while the band members were backing up legendary Tennessee bluesman Rotten Belly Mike Piatt. There were frequent opportunities for Beatles tribute concerts, and the band came to life to play such events. Mean Mr. Mustard delivers interesting live performances to fans wherever they go.
Mean Mr. Mustard is looking forward to their Lazy Dog Coffeehouse debut! The night will surely take some interesting turns that you do not want to miss! The band features Kyle Morgan on vocals and guitar, Rotten Belly Jonny on electric bass, Alex B. Smith on drums and maracas, and Will Markley on keyboard and vocals.
