Sheila Stratton &
Mark Hamza

Sheila performs as singer and Mark on the accordion. The accordion is played in a very non- traditional way on great songs from many eras that include the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60’s and songs from Rock and Blues to Jazz.
Sheila has recorded and produced 2 CDs that are currently available on CD Baby. They are "Celtic Song and Story" and “Celtic Lady of the Lake”. The CDs have been played on the Thistle and Shamrock show Celtic Kaleidoscope, hosted by Bill Raffel on WBUF, 98.7 FM. She has also been a lead singer for many bands in the Buffalo, NY area including “Iad Fein”.
Mark has a CD available on CD Baby as well titled “Mark Hamza and
The Great Swamp Blues Band.” Tracks from his CD have been played on many local
radio stations. Mark has been playing accordion since he was 8 years old. A
full time musician since 1971, he landed an organ gig in the Poconos in a
Pennsylvania resort band in 1972 and moved there. He occasionally went on the
road with different bands. In the 70’s, it was with “The Happenings”, where he
learned analog multi-keyboards. In the 90’s it was with the “Clarence Spady
Band” where he honed his blues chops on Hammond organ. Mark also has another
band, “The Great Swamp Blues Band”, which consists of Hammond organ, Saxophone,
Trombone, and Drums. The band plays a combination of cover songs and originals
that reside on the “Jazzy side of the Blues.” In 2007, Mark released his “Great
Swamp Blues Band” album.
