Started playing piano as a child in Nigeria. Learned guitar in Boston while
in search of less classical sound in High school. Went on to experiment with
different styles at college in Amherst MA.
Shortly after, moved to NC and started playing open mics. Soon convinced to
start playing shows, where he has done in North Carolina, Boston, London, and
now in PA!

Tim Harakal is an original acoustic singer-songwriter from Whitehall, PA. He has performed his 30+ originals with select covers at numerous venues throughout Eastern PA. He was a finalist at the Lehigh Valley Acoustic Performance Contest in 2007 and 2008, and at "Philly Rising", World Cafe Live, in Philadelphia. Tim has recently opened for Steve Forbert at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. Enjoy his poetic lyrics, melodic voice, and fluid guitar work.
